This is my first post! It pretty much sucks only having my blackberry to use for internet at home. Other than that, I have to come to the library. I like the library and all but I would much rather be able to be at home, blasting music while I do this. hmm.
Well, as you can see by my post title, I'm stranded. No, I'm not lost on some deserted island without a boat. Might as well be, though. My kind of stranded is not as bad, depending on how you look at it. For some stupid reason I decided to go to my first year of college at my local community college. Exciting right? ha! I started class on Monday and by yesterday all of my friends had moved into their glorious University dorms. Where are my accomodations? My bedroom at home. I have myself as a roommate. Anyways, i was fine with it up until everyone actually left. Now I'm stuck in my hometown (which is pretty small) with nobody to really hangout with but my family. I love my family but geez I dont think I can be with them almost 24/7 ALL year! So, yes, I'm stranded.
Why don't I just meet new people at my community college? Well, it would make sense but unfortunately almost all of the people in my classes are middle-age adults. I highly doubt that they will feel the need, or want, to hangout with an almost-eighteen-year-old teenager.
Until I transfer to who knows where (I'm thinkin Arcadia University?) next fall, I'll spend most of my days in unexciting classes, my afternoons studying, and my nights working whenever I find a job. Brilliant lifestyle, yeah??
Until we meet again...
